Michael A. Clements – CPA, CVA, MST, Partner

Michael is excited to make his return to Paresky Flitt & Company. Michael originally began his career with the firm in 1998. After spending the last 10 years with a larger regional CPA firm, Michael returns to Paresky Flitt & Company as a Partner, bringing more than 20 years of experience providing accounting and tax services to privately owned businesses including food service, bio-technology, manufacturing, real estate, and professional services. Michael brings additional expertise in the employee benefit plan audit area, providing audit and consulting services to various 401(k) plans and Employee Stock Ownership Plans.

Michael attended Bryant University where he earned both his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Taxation.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.

Along with David Lorenzi, Michael can be found at Gillette Stadium during football season where he works on game days as a statistician for visiting team radio and in the Patriots’ PR department, interviewing players after games as a service for the print and electronic media.

Michael makes his home in Whitinsville with his wife, Lisa. They have two adult daughters and a son who currently attends Nichols College.

Rebecca DeWolfe – CPA, Partner

Rebecca began her career in public accounting at several regional CPA firms. In November of 2011 she joined Paresky Flitt & Company, LLP, and became Partner in 2020. Rebecca enjoys working with high-net worth individuals and business owners specializing in estate and trust taxation, tax planning and preparation and multi-state taxation. For the past several years she has attended the Heckerling Institute of Estate Planning in Orlando Florida to continue and further her knowledge in trust and estate taxation.

Rebecca focuses her practice on high-net worth individuals, individual tax planning and tax preparation and working closely with her clients to help navigate the complex area of tax.  Many of the areas she most enjoys is inheritance planning, stock option planning and planning around life events to save her clients in taxes. “I initially started my career in public accounting because I love to learn.  With the tax laws constantly changing, I’m able to continue pursuing that passion for knowledge”.

Rebecca is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. She earned her B.A. from the University of Vermont and Certificate of Accountancy from Worcester State University.

In her free time, it is her desire to travel with her family and two dogs.  Rebecca makes her home in Shrewsbury with her husband Chris. They have two adult daughters and two sons who currently both attend the University of Vermont.

Damien Falato – CPA, MST, CGMA, ParTner

Damien brings a great deal of depth to the firm in the tax field. Damien has over twenty years of public accounting experience, and is licensed as a CPA in MA & NJ.  His extensive experience includes tax planning and preparation, business consulting, trusts and estates, multi-state tax issues, succession, merger and acquisition planning.

Damien is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from Ramapo College, graduating Cum Laude in 1999 and his Masters in Taxation from Rutgers University in 2004.

Damien is also an instructor at Boston Tax Institute, a Boston based provider of continuing education for CPA’s and attorneys.  He presently teaches courses on the complex tax issues involving 338(h)(10) elections, a method of selling a business’ stock, but having it treated as a sale of assets for tax purposes, and the Small Business Stock exclusion under IRC 1202.  He has also presented for Stafford, a national provider of continuing education for CPA’s and attorneys, and been published in the AICPA’s Tax Insider.

Damien enjoys working with clients in unusual tax situations and finding planning solutions to minimize their tax burden.  “The legislature drafts opportunities to save tax dollars into the law to encourage taxpayers to act in a certain manner.  My role, as my client’s advisor, is to keep my client abreast of how to take advantage of those opportunities.”  

An outdoorsman and amateur woodworker, Damien enjoys a variety of hobbies at his home in Littleton where he resides with his wife Cris.

Christopher B. Jones – CPA, CVA, Partner

Christopher joined the firm in January 2004 after working for a large public accounting firm in Worcester, Mass., for the previous ten years. He became a partner in 2007. He has had a variety of experience working with diverse clients in audit and accounting and tax. He specializes in employee benefit plan audit engagements, and he has a keen understanding of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).

A member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA, Christopher earned his certified valuation analyst designation which certifies him to perform business valuations.

Christopher is also a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his B.S. from Nichols College.

He says, “I see a tremendous opportunity to assist clients in valuing one of their most prized possessions: their business. This service can take on many different forms and purposes, including business sales , mergers and acquisitions , and the estate and gift tax arena.”

An avid Boston sports fan, Christopher makes his home in North Grafton, Mass.

David D. Lorenzi – CPA, Partner

David joined Paresky Flitt & Company in 1993 and became a partner in 2002.  David currently oversees many of the firm’s accounting and auditing engagements. David is certified to conduct peer reviews of other CPA firms, which involves examining the firm’s files for quality and reporting to governing bodies to ensure that the reviewed firm meets the profession’s rigid standards. David has previously served several years, both as a member and a group leader, on the Massachusetts Society of CPAs Review Approval Board, which is in charge of approving the results of peer reviews conducted in the state. In addition, he is a member of the AICPA and MSCPA.

David exercises his passion for helping others solve complex problems while satisfying his entrepreneurial spirit. His work covers many industries, including manufacturing, wholesale, and service businesses.

A 1985 graduate of Bentley College with a B.A. in Accounting and a minor in Management, David earned his CPA in 1988. David is a fan of all Boston sports teams, especially the New England Patriots. For over 30 years, he has worked on game days as a statistician and in the Patriots’ PR department, interviewing players after games as a service provided by the team for the print and electronic media.  David makes his home in Northborough with his wife, Pam. They also spend time at their vacation home on Cape Cod. David and Pam have three grown children and recently became grandparents.

Michael joined the firm in 2000 and became a partner in 2007. He has enjoyed working with clients in all areas of accountingauditing, and tax. Prior to joining PFC, Mike spent several years at a public accounting firm in Worcester, and he also spent a few years working with New England Financial (Currently MetLife) in its internal audit department.

He earned his B.S. and MBA from Nichols College , and he received his CPA in 1996. Mike also holds a Masters of Science in Taxation (MST) from Bryant University.

An avid runner and sports fanatic, Mike serves as a statistician for the New England Patriots. He makes his home in Uxbridge with his wife and three children.

Ryan Godfrey – CPA, MST, PARTNER

Ryan first joined Paresky Flitt & Company LLP in the spring of 2013 as a taxation intern. Ryan completed his undergraduate education at the University of Massachusetts – Boston in June 2012 where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Management and concentration in Accounting. During his undergraduate career, Ryan worked at a mid-sized CPA firm located in Westborough, MA for over two years. Upon graduation, Ryan then worked at a Big 4 accounting firm as a full-time summer taxation intern within the insurance industry. During his time at these two firms, Ryan gained taxation experience with corporate and individual tax returns across a wide variety of industries.

In August 2013, Ryan completed his Masters of Science in Taxation degree from Suffolk University. While completing his masters degree, Ryan also worked as a research and teaching assistant in the Information Systems and Operations Management department, as well as contributed to several taxation research studies. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 2016.

At Paresky Flitt & Company LLP, Ryan enjoys working with clients in the tax area to minimize their tax liability through various tax saving strategies. He specializes in tax preparation for individual and small to medium size businesses. Ryan, in addition, has a significant amount of experience working with real estate developers and investors to help navigate the tax code to maximize their deductions.

Ryan is a member of Massachusetts Society of CPAs as well as the Business Networking International (BNI) MetroWest Networkers chapter in Natick where he serves as the chapter’s Treasurer.

When he’s not at work, Ryan spends his free time traveling, camping and watching Boston sports. As a Massachusetts native (born in Peabody), Ryan is an avid Boston sports loyalist, especially when it comes to the Patriots. He and his wife Angela currently reside in Shrewsbury.

Christopher J. Melendez – MBA

Christopher Melendez joined Paresky Flitt & Company in January 2018. Prior to joining the firm he previously worked for a public accounting firm in Worcester and he has over ten years of experience servicing a large variety of clients. Chris is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and earned both his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration from Nichols College. He resides in Dudley, MA with his wife Meredith and their three sons. In his free time, Chris enjoys coaching his son’s soccer team and traveling with his family.

Dana E. Arthur – CPA

Dana has been with us for over ten years, working in the accounting and auditing part of our practice. Dana has over twenty years of experience working in medium and national public accounting practices and has worked in a broad range of industries, including construction, manufacturing, engineering, distributing, service organizations and more.

In addition to our traditional services, Dana has experience helping clients navigate the process of selling their businesses and acquiring new business to their portfolios. This includes providing diligence support and working with your broker.  Along with this consulting, Dana has expertise in the technical accounting necessary when acquisitions are completed and also to assist with sale price analyses.    

Dana’s experience includes working in private industry accounting groups in a variety of roles, which gives him a unique perspective when providing service to our clients. Part of that experience includes working on a team integrating a significant business acquisition.  His private industry experience provides Dana the tools to really help our clients, because he understands their needs and challenges.  

Dana is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from Suffolk University in 1991.

When Dana is not working, he enjoys boating, fishing, dirt biking and an occasional round of golf. Dana makes his home in Natick with his wife and two children.

Janet Dobosh – CPA, MSAT

Janet earned her CPA in 2009, after receiving her B.S. in Accounting from Northeastern University and her M.S. in Accounting and Taxation from Florida Gulf Coast University. She has prior experience working in both public accounting and private industry.

Jonathan Novak – CPA

Jon worked for a public accounting firm in Elgin, Illinois before moving to Massachusetts in 2009. Upon moving to Massachusetts, Jon joined Paresky Flitt & Company LLP. Here he enjoys the opportunity to expand on his academic knowledge by working on a diversified group of clients and dealing with more complex accounting and tax issues. He works primarily in the areas of accounting and auditing, personal taxation and corporate taxation.

Jon took the CPA exam and passed all four sections on his first sitting in 2008, the same year he received his Masters of Accounting Science degree from Northern Illinois University. Jon is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Jon spends his free time reading, spending time with his family, blacksmithing and watching sports, especially football. Jon, his wife, and his son reside in Jefferson.

Katherine R. Aultz – CPA

Having joined the firm in 2003, Kate handles all aspects of individual and business accounting, tax planning and preparation. Tina Dziewietin – CPA

Tina Dziewietin is a CPA with over twenty years of experience in public accounting. Before joining the firm in November 2017, she worked at a large public accounting firm in Worcester, servicing primarily small closely-held businesses. Tina takes pride in servicing her clients and fostering long-term professional relationships.

She graduated from Stonehill College and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Tina enjoys spending her free time with her children at their sporting and gymnastics events. She is an avid Boston sports fan, enjoys being active and vacationing in Maine. Tina also volunteers and serves as the Chair of the Audit Committee for the YMCA of Central Massachusetts.

She is looking forward to growing her career in public accounting with the team at Paresky Flitt.

Lynn Granger – Firm Administrator

Lynn joined PFC in 2001 as an assistant to the office manager. In 2005 she took on the office manager position where she enjoyed taking care of all the administrative needs of our clients, our office and the firm’s staff.  With the growth of the company, Lynn has proceeded to Firm Administrator here where she is working more behind the scenes for our internal necessities with the same eagerness to help where ever needed.

Lynn’s organizational skills and keen intellect make her a valuable asset.  Her longevity has earned her fond respect by all clients and merchants or contacts of PFC.  

Outside the office, Lynn enjoys spending time with her husband, and 2 grown children.  A lot of her free time is spent in the lakes and mountains region of New Hampshire, where they enjoy outdoor activities.  Lynn is an active and passionate member of the Worldwide Framingham Heart Study, also wholeheartedly support in the fight against cancer.

LynnE Bolli – Administration

Lynne joined the firm in January 2019. She comes from an extensive background of Corporate Tax Administration, providing compliance assistance, research and filing requirements, reporting and organizational documentation.

Howard M. Flitt – Retired, Founder

A founding partner of the firm, Howard has over thirty years’ experience as a CPA licensed in Massachusetts. His extensive experience includes accountingtax planning and preparationsuccession planning, and business consulting.

Howard’s diverse client base covers myriad industries, including professional services, software development, real estate, manufacturing, distribution, and recycling. In particular, he has applied his knowledge to evaluating acquisitions and buyouts and setting up valuable tax-saving structures for his clients who export goods and services.

A member in good standing with the MSCPA, Howard is also an AICPA Tax Division Member. In addition, he has served as treasurer of his synagogue and has been active in coaching youth soccer and basketball. Howard also speaks at various local business groups. An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoys travel and exercise in his free time.

Howard holds a B.S. in Accounting from The University of Connecticut. He earned his CPA in 1978. Regarding his work, Howard says, “I’m constantly reading to stay current on all the tax changes so our clients can take advantage of every opportunity. I’m passionate about doing the best job I can for each and every one of my clients.”

With two grown daughters who live in Boston, Howard and his wife, Laurie, make their home in Mashpee.

Lee D. Paresky – Retired, Founder

Lee founded Paresky Flitt & Company in 1987 along with Howard Flitt. His “hands on” experience and his entrepreneurial thinking in a wide variety of businesses and industries have given him insight into what it takes to make a good business better and a better business great.

Lee received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Assumption College, graduating summa cum laude, and he received his CPA in 1984. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Lee likes to exercise and travel. He lives in Douglas with his wife, Lynn, of 30 years and a big Labrador named Tobey.
