David D. Lorenzi, CPA, Partner

Having joined the firm in 1993 after spending several years with a regional CPA firm, David became a partner in 2002 and currently oversees accounting and auditing engagements. In addition, he and Chris Jones are experts in employee benefit plan audits, and, together, they manage this area of the practice as well.

At PFC, David exercises his passion for helping others solve complex problems while satisfying his entrepreneurial spirit. His work covers many industries, including manufacturing, wholesale, and service businesses. About his work ethic, he says, "My goal is to always make the client feel that he or she is in competent and caring hands. I really believe in building relationships with clients."

David is certified to conduct peer reviews of other CPA firms, which involves examining the firm's files for quality and reporting to governing bodies to ensure that the reviewed firm meets the profession's rigid standards. David also sits on the Review Approval Board for the Massachusetts Society of CPA's, which is in charge of approving the results of peer reviews conducted in the state.  n addition, he is a member of AICPA, MSCPA, and Business Networking International (BNI).

A 1985 graduate of Bentley College with a B.A. in Accounting and a minor in Management, David earned his CPA in 1988. A fan of all sports, especially football, David enjoys watching the New England Patriots. For over 20 years, he has worked on game days as a statistician and in the Patriots' PR department, interviewing players after games as a service for the print media.

David makes his home in Northborough with his wife, Pam, and their three children.
