Scott joined the firm in August of 2009. Having worked the last two years at a national firm in Boston providing consulting and accounting services for a variety of large organizations, Scott decided to return to a firm servicing smaller businesses. The ten years prior, he worked for a large public accounting firm in Worcester servicing primarily small closely held businesses. "I realized that working with small business owners and employees gave me the most satisfaction ... I am very excited about returning to that environment", he said.

Scott has a wide range of experience in accounting, audit, review and tax in various industries including construction, service, retail, health care, and manufacturing. He is also a member of the AICPA, MSCPA, and ACFE (Association of Certified Fraud Examiners), currently working towards certification in fraud examination. He has been designated as a Certified QuickBooks Pro-Advisor and was responsible for the implementation of paperless audit software at his prior employer's office. Scott earned his B.A. in Accounting at Assumption College in Worcester.

When Scott is not working, he enjoys being a musician, a Boston sports fan, and spending time with his wife Jean, their three children and two wire fox terriers. Scott and his family reside in Jefferson, MA.
