August is here and Labor Day is just around the corner. Many of you are focused on 2014 and think of 2013 as being in the past – but the IRS is still focused on 2013.
September 15, 2014 and October 15, 2014 are the last two deadlines that relate to tax year 2013 extended filings. Partnerships, Fiduciaries, LLC’s, and Corporations (both C-Corps and S-Corps) have until September 15th and Individuals have until October 15th 2014 to file their 2013 calendar year tax returns. Additionally these dates also relate to the funding of your retirement plans.
